Cloud demand is genuinely three-way rather than led by one vendor: Azure appears in 221 postings, AWS in 214 and Google Cloud in 183, so a candidate committing to any one platform is not backing an outsider. The market skews toward running systems rather than building them from scratch, with IT support and administration (228 postings), solutions architecture (210) and security (188) all ahead of backend engineering (99). Certifications behave differently from tools: CISSP is listed as nice-to-have in 91% of the postings that name it, while SQL is a hard requirement in 95% of the postings that name it.
